The HP TouchPad is a relative newcomer on the market of computer tablets today. It’s only been around since about February of 2011, but has made a big hit amongst users. In fact, it’s been very highly rated, 4.5 out of 5 stars by buyers of this computer tablet.

Features of the HP TouchPad:

The HP Touch Pad has a slightly smaller screen than some of the other tablets on the market. It’s 9.7″, which didn’t seem to make much of a difference amongst users. And it’s available in 16GB or 32GB, depending on your needs.

The screen is backlit LED, which makes for easy viewing, and a pretty brilliant color picture. And lots of people, especially in business, are looking for a tablet to carry around instead of the laptop. This computer tablet does the job.

It seems that the big highlight of the touchpad HP is the HP WebOS 3.0. You wouldn’t think an operating system would be that big a deal, but apparently this one is. So far the iPad has been far out front as far as popularity, but this HP tablet seems to be giving it some competition.

The iPad operates by using more apps, and has plenty available. But this sometimes drives users crazy, because you have to find an app all the time to do anything new. With the HP tab, everything seems to be integrated together without having to resort to apps all the time.

And another big plus is the flash support. Sometimes the iPad does not use flash that well, but the HP computer tablet does. It’s amazing how much stuff you do that uses flash, and when you don’t have good access to it, you will notice it.

The keyboard size is adjustable on this HP Touchpad tablet, and so easy to type on. Compared to others, which seem a little clunky. And a lot of your HP products, like printers, etc., will connect easily and wirelessly automatically to the TouchPad.

If you’re a music fan, you’ll want to know that Amazon’s Cloud Music player works really well on this internet tablet. On some of the others, it hardly works at all. So it’s easy to play and simple to download your favorite music.

One of the downsides is that the app selection is still a little slim, but that’s being improved upon day by day, so it shouldn’t be any problem. Just like anything new, it takes some time to sort things out.

There are accessories that you can add to the HP Touch. Of course there’s a dock, which allows easy charging, and easy to use while the pc tablet is charging. You can add the wireless keyboard if you do a lot of typing or emailing, just makes life easier.

All in all, this HP TouchPad gives the iPad and lots of other internet tablets a run for the money, it’s fast, really good flash interaction, and easy browsing the internet on this computer tablet.
